Typically, the soffit is made of aluminum with holes to allow for ventilation across the attic. The size of the area covered by the soffits can vary from a couple of centimeters to more than a meter. Aluminum soffits are installed on the roof trusses.

The fascia is the wood attached to the edge of the roof trusses covered with an aluminum surface that forms the outer edge finishing the connection between the soffit and the roof. The ‘fascia board’ caps the end of the rafters outside your building and can be colour coordinated with the soffit.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The roof of your house is a system.
